Hi! I am currently a student working on my Graduate Certificate in Digital Literacy at the University of Rhode Island. Hope to complete this program in December (2016).
I have two degrees: Bachelors in Education and a Masters in Library Science plus a School Library Media Endorsement. I have gone back to school to get the following endorsements: Math, Literature, and Science.
My new passion is Digital Literacy and Digitization. I have attended the Library of Congress Teacher Institute and the National Archives Teacher Institute, both programs have influenced me on the importance of digitizing our history. Primary Sources are very important to us as teachers! If you have not used the Library of Congress Teacher Resources or the National Archives Resources, you should! What an abundance of resources!
I am Media Educational and Technology Instructor with Fulton County Schools in Atlanta, Georgia. I have taught in Oklahoma and Michigan prior to moving to Georgia.
I love to travel and visit libraries.
